Is anyone not a Valentine’s Day type of person? I know there are some of you out there! Maybe this drink will turn you onto valentines day, or maybe it will just make you love ice cream floats more.
I present to you the Valentines Day, adult version of an ice cream cream float: The Vodka Cherry Pop Float!
You can make this drink without vodka if you’d like but I don’t see the point in that. V really is for Vodka!
I was a little hesitant about mixing vodka and ice cream, it just doesn’t sound good to me. But vodka and soda go great together! That’s when I convinced myself it was a good idea, and let me tell you, it tasted way better than I thought it was going to! It was actually nothing like I thought it was going to taste, there really is no way to explain the taste, you just need to try it.
Your adult taste buds will be gleaming with joy with this drink! A great, new spin on a childhood favorite drink!
Simple and Great!
Grab your 2 scoops of ice cream.
I used vanilla bean ice cream because I like the flavor but feel free to use regular vanilla ice cream.
Once you pour your ice cream into your mug, grab your vodka and add it to you mug.
I recommend using 1 tbsp but you can add more or less depending on your taste.
Side note: this is a good point to take a shot (or 2) of vodka!
Grab your cherry pop and pour it in!
Watch the foam rise!!
5 minutes, 1 serving
2 scoops of vanilla bean ice cream
1 tbsp vodka
1 can of cherry soda
Dump your 2 scoops of ice cream into your mug. Grab your vodka and pour it into your ice cream and then pour the soda in until it’s at the level you prefer. Super easy!! Enjoy!
